Which one is better? Or what are the advantages to each if one is not better than the other. the 6800 is about 30 dollars cheaper (it's on sale), but I have heard really good things about the 7600GT.

I'm not sure it makes sense to spend the extra 120.00 to go up to the 7900 for what I'm doing (Video stuff for my church - video behind text, specifically with the software "EasyWorship").

Any help with deciding which card I should choose would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

7600GT. It's better than a 6800 Ultra..even the stock speed 7600GT's beat a 68 ultra.

Screw the BFG one though, get a XFX XXX edition 7600GT it's clocked at 590/1600...you'll never find a 7600GT better than that. And it's 199 at newegg with a 30 dollar rebate. So 169 for a card that rapes a normal 7600GT and just kills a 68 Ultra.

That BFG 7600GT is at what? 560/1460 or something like that? Get the XFX
XXX edition one.

Where can you get a 6800 Ultra for like $170? If it's a normal 6800, I'd get the 7600GT. But I'd get an ATI X1800GTO instead of the 7600 because of the overclocking and potential unlocking ability, and the 256-bit memory bus.

The X1800 GTO is 50+ more than a 7600 GT and the 7600GT performs like the same if not better. I know my 7600GT XFx XXX 590/1600 performs better than a X1800 GTO.
