OK, so I pushed my e7200 a bit... ;) I reached 4Ghz, but settled down at 3.60 with stock cooler. Obviously testing with Prime95 and OCCT didn't last too long due to high temperature. That didn't put me off and I started playing BF2 having HWMonitor running the background. I checked the readings after an hour or so and both cores reached max temp of 66C.
I know it's high, but is it too high?

Why is it obvious that your computer cannot run prime95?

Temperature doesn't have to be the reason for prime95 crashing. Maybe your voltage is not stable. You should not use your computer if it is unable to run a prime for a few hours.

66c is not too high, btw.
