I don't know how you live with yourself Peter always want-Moore. You suck and so does your shit company. Soon enough you will be the new AOL after you alienate most of your customers with constant anti-consumer practices and constant "improvements" that no one wants.

"In the past year, we have received thousands of emails and postcards protesting against EA for allowing players to create LGBT characters in our games," he said. "This week, we’re seeing posts on conservative web sites urging people to protest our LGBT policy by voting EA the Worst Company in America. That one is particularly telling. If that’s what makes us the worst company, bring it on. Because we're not caving on that."

"Our critics are bigots." Yeah, dude. You're a real freedom fighter.

Damn the man!!! Oh, wait. You are the man.

While I agree EA has done numerous things to alienate their customers if people actually stopped and thought about companies that harm the environment or are so badly mismanaged that they end up getting billions in bailouts EA would not be in the top 10 worst company in the USA.
Votes for EA are inflated because gamers tend to be more vocal with their complaints but a lot of them are just unaware or indifferent about the real issues with the economy and are just pissed off about the moves that EA has made over the years.
EA as a few people have already said are copying what other gaming companies like Activision or Steam have done with DLC's and always on DRM's but they seem to get more flak for some reason because they're bigger.
Activision really opened the door for the money grabbing tactics that DLC's are and depending on their cash cow WoW to rake in millions of dollars without creating new original content for a number of years.

Gaming companies need to charge money for DLCs because the cost to make a game has gone up significantly due to graphics, voice acting, etc. I don't blame EA for microtransactions, I blame EA for releasing games that are broken and utter crap like Sim City, which would still be broken and utter crap even if you could play without being online 100% of the time.

As for worst company, I vote for those companies that took taxpayer money yet still have horrible business practices like Bank of America and Citigroup.

Walmart destroyed mom and pop businesses? Are you people looking at the entire picture? It's called competition and people CHOOSE Walmart over the businesses that failed. Why? Probably because Walmart had better prices, yet mom and pop stores could not offer better service or something else to compensate. I see tons of mom and pop computer sales and repair stores around that have not been beaten by Best Buy so it's not a given that a larger corporation will automatically take over the neighborhood. The mom and pop store I used to repair my computer was great, 1000% better than a Best Buy, they even worked past store hours to get my computer back to me in the same day. That kind of service can't be matched by Best Buy or Walmart.

Speaking of which, look at the other side, how much did Walmart save shoppers compared to mom and pop stores? How much more money in their pockets? How much better off are those people thanks to Walmart? Can't believe that Walmart would be on anyone's list. Look at the overall picture.

I agree. D3 and SC2 should never have been forced to deal with online only. At least with WoW, it is an MMO and supposed to be online. Single player games shouldn't be forced to be online.

LGBT characters, who gives a shit? I won't be using them and thats all that should concern anyone, just because its an option...stop hating. As for the Sim City launch. Big fucking whoop, when was the last major release not subjected to the same old launch issues, Diablo II, Starcraft II, Diablo III, The majority of popular MMORPGs. These kinds of things you can't always tell are going to go wrong. And still, there were a few million copies sold of sim city, is everyone so numb to the large amount of these games sold that millions of people connecting to the servers simultaneously is considered 'small fish'. Everyones mad about the DRM but still shell out the money, learn how to boycott!

Probably hugging onto Activision. Ever since Blizz merged with them, they have started to go downhill. Hence why WoW peaked during Wrath. There is a reason the bled so many customers when Cata came out. Their devs tend to be arrogant pricks that think they know what is best for the playerbase. They make decisions that make absolutely no sense and just pisses off the players. If not for friends and family playing too, I would probably not be playing right now.

Bf3 is the best game I have ever played... It is an absolute masterpiece... And to be honest, I have played 606 hours, and paid 60€, so that's 0.099€ the hour... I'm happy with that...

I feel the same way. I have never spent more time playing any other game and for over a year and a half.

Whenever I sit down to play something else (ie Crysis 3), I still have the intention of going to BF3 for at least a round of deathmatch before I'm done gaming for the day.

I think, too many times, companies will create sequels with bad tweaks, when all they need to do is add maps or game modes to keep a great game fresh. BF3 adds maps and modes and the game stays great. I've spent around the same amount of time playing that you have. Definitely worth the money.

This is just silly. There are many many many more companies out there that are worst than EA. For example, Insurance companies.

900,000 SimCity players took us up on a free game offer.. and how many of those 900000 players actually play the free game they chose? i took the free game just because they were giving it away, but I have yet to play it. the choices we had were bottom line games and old

Wow, a man with influence! I guess EA better run and hide now.
