Earthshock and Claws

Just double-checking for a friend whose question was:

Can you make an Eartshock strike at close range aggravated with Wolf
Claws? I would imagine so since it is a strength based non-weapon
strike at close, fulfilling the criteria for a hand strike.

No, because it's ranged. Regardless of whether it's played at close or
long, it's still a ranged strike, and thus, not a hand strike.

Wow, that's like, right in the rulebook. This guy's always citing the
damned rulebook that I thought that this was a legitimate question,
sheesh.

Of course, that wouldn't preclude you from making your hands aggravated
with Claws in case you wanted to use additional strikes or cycle.
