No. Once you mention the two words "video game" you no longer have their attention, lol...

Still doesn't seem right though given many things on ideas of third parties. Some third party ideas might work for some information, personal excluded though for what that would be. Included would be anyones guess.

Otherwise on intial interest of say terms within compliance would state at a time that after intial release to determine infoamtion of gain is none-informal for the say interest, then an incline of say use of the interest would be more present on the idea of interest for replacement of interest within own arguements until furtherly placed within means of interests until no more.

Then of it within time of place of what would be said of replacement would only then be sent back.

Probably by then would not matter, given the additional expense into all for what that would be, given in the agreement probably would state as equally for awhile intial interests. But again of it as well though is that of what might be considered personal information and interests for it. Either which way of course at anytime.

Still of course more information more then none is needed at sometimes, which can be understood many times over. Just of it for some parts of why some infomation is needed and shared to say is placed within some reasons of interest rather pretaining to intial interests or not.

Like online requirements to run release, and online accounts for the sites. Some people probably have accounts on some sites many for reference and "article" based interests. Can access things "mobilely".

Here is additional say arguements or debates withiin it all, but still. Again within more of less of it does put some place of subjective and perspective means.

If anything more complicated for the place of interest, but yet also not for it as well, unless a combined and joined interest of the like probably on the intial interest.

Some computers you can access the internet but not install programs. Yes? What personal information should be inclined here? Obviously internet to say based applications are downloaded, but of it though the most is still within many means of things basically without access. Icons, and Folders are not a main interest. Your history files for internet use and cache probably is the most. For or from a user standpoint.

Otherwise though for a decent part of interest again though, does place programs in highlight the most, yes? Internet is a program itself of course. But of it though the most is one that contains many. And applications. Without a connection, usually an internet browser doesn't work though for what it is.

But ya know, many programs are working their way that way as well.

Maybe more then not are and not known to say as well. Still though is that of interest for say an issue or interest.

Of what might ideas of personal privacy "violations" may not be on ideas of request for what that would pretain to, but does say that ideas of violations do present themselves though of it.

Still debated and arguable though for it all. Cause of it after awhile says almost none is needed in the first. Least in idea.

So of it still though without saying as such rather of it or not does still present question. Or questions on ideas of what personal information retrieval could be or access of might pretain too and the like of third parties. Since third parties would cover like ideas of think of additional developers publishers, and even maybe retailers at times. Probably more then that though but intiall though. In the process sometimes the "party" changes of course. But of it though any intial place of interest would probably still maintain itself intail as that of an intial "party" within a "party" like system.

Third party is easy to get on a "run-around" given lack/absence of something with the idea of none is/of another.

Again though is ideas of what ideas of personal data comes to and how it is obtained and for what interests. But does aid in the ideas of nothing but numbers too. Which probably doesn't change much intial but still contains its own arguements.

Otherwsie EAs' Origin Sends Personal Data to Third Partis, if not already for alot of other interests of EA.

I'll use one of the website that was already referred to by primatron..

READ the second sentence!!! Steam specifically say this is anonymous! Where in EA's EULA does it say this? Nowhere. More specifically is says it WILL use personal information for marketing as well! Glad I saw this. Removed Origin immediately. Luckily I only used it for BF3 Alpha for a brief time but I'm sure that was more than enough for EA! FU EA!!!

EVERY1!!! is not as bad, go read the thing yourself...

I really think we have a misconception here of why EA will collect this information, go read it(the whole thing), will give you a much more detailed idea, and you will see its not as bad as you think...

I loved the Lotus game for Sega, and it sparked a respect for EA games in me, but this kills it. I really wanted to play that game on my shiny GTX580 and now I won't. Steam can collect my computer hardware info if it wants, but denying Steam access to EA games so EA can control what I do with my purchase and sell my info is un-called for. Steam is a vendor. They sell all games ('cept EA, now). Origins isn't a vendor, it's a vending service for EA only games. I don't need to have more then one computer-game distributor installed when I can get all I need from one. Sorry EA. Remake Lotus in HD and we might still have some little spark.

@kK-zoNnD What kind of "too long" crap was that. It was so convoluted I kept trying to read it over and over, but it's length simply wore me out. You must work on the EA EULA writing team. Check out this gem from the eight paragraph. Don't even get pretentious and tell me I'm not sophisticated enough to understand...

Does anyone realize that all companies now have to submit a EULA with something similar in them due to the new online act that was passed. The only reason this is being pointed out on a huge campagne is because other game companies are making sure to point it out to curb sales of EA's soon to release titles that are projected to be so successful. If you play any game with Steam, Punkbuster, or Blizzard, you already digitally signed a similar EULA with the same statements.

I emailed them and got this response from them

[citation][nom]primonatron[/nom]Can someone explain what EA's Origin will be doing that Steam isn't doing?Steam collects information on what is on your computerhttp://store.steampowered.com/hwsurveyAnd their privacy policy looks like it condones the same things to me, just worded differentlyhttp://www.valvesoftware.com/privacy.html[/citation]

hm.....alright, i guess you have convinced me. I guess we can only hope for the best that they wont do anything idiotic.

Kevin, thank you for writing this article. It's important that people share this kind of info about terms of service agreements and EULA's and that we help push back and let companies know when we think it is unacceptable.

The Defective by Design campaign has recently gone after Nintendo, calling their terms of service (TOS) on the 3DS "dubious, devious, and defective." The 3DS TOS go so far as to claim a copyright license on all images and videos and conversations done on the device, while further claiming the right to track and scrape all such personal and non-personal data from a user's device whenever the device is connects to the Internet. For more info see .

Actually the ORIGIN app isn't going to be needed to play Star Wars The Old Republic, however other games are going to need it. SWTOR will require the use of an active account so it won't need ORIGIN to fight piracy.

I have just cancelled my pre-order for Battlefield 3,not because i have anything to hide from Origin but because why should i pay good money for a game then let EA steal my infomation to sell to third parties for more proffit. If we allow this now what will we have to do for these money grabbing games companies in the future. This is no more than Malware and i for one will not buy this game with origin installed.

Saying that they would not sell private information shortly after saying that they can if they wanted to does not inspire my confidence.

At least with valve's privacy policy, they explain, in detail, exactly how and why they use the information, and even how they gather it. Computer hardware survey's are completely optional and only gather machine specs. Personal information is only used internally for generalized demographics, and there are pop ups every time you play a game that may ask for additional personal information as a warning.

So for all of those who say steam is the same as orgin, I would have to say that Valve is much better at the whole community thing, as they have proven time and again, as shown by the modding communities that they create.

Yeah I think I'm going to buy this game on xbox360 instead now.

Even if this policy isnt used without consent, I would still have to download their "origin" shit just for this game. Not worth it.

F_CKING DRM is like the patriot act for pc gamers.
they treat us like we are all terrorists, their making us all want to move to consoles and be good little sheep with no control over our boxes.

in my 50 years i have never seen so much corporate manipulation with consumer rights and its going to come back to haunt them.
their actions breed hackers.

Dont care, must play BF3 regardless... I love this damn game and cant get enough of it. Take all the info you want, my credit card company catches any odd purchases :)
