I´m using a ECS K7S6A (SiS745). In BIOS I have an option to set certain hardware to use an embedded bus instead of the usual PCI bus. What is an embedded bus, and would it be wise to set my hardware (harddrive, cd-rom and LAN) to use it?

Have you tried the ecs web site? I'm thinking about getting that mobo. What do you think of it?

I have that same mainboard, and I´m also wondering what the embedded bus is. The mainboard is great, has lots of features, is really cheap and even a good overclocker, eventhough it has some limited options. I´ve overclocked my system 25% (FSP by 50%), even with lowering the Vcore by 0,25v. It´s very cool and still completely stable, running like a dream!
