Efficient Air Flow?

Prior to this post, I debated back and forth to cool my cpu with water cooling or air cooling. Finally I have come to the decision that water cooling is something I am very intersted in, however it just isnt realistic for me right now. So with this said, I have been doing long research on what air cooling device would be best for my CPU, the AMD Athlon 64 3700. Deciding on the processor was a chore in its own, but thats another story. So back to the subject:

I wanted to know if the Zalman 9500 was a good direction to lean towards for cooling my CPU inside my Antec P180 Case. It has been pointed out to me that this Fan will line pretty close to my rear fan. It has also been pointed out to me that this fan's controller may pose a problem with my mobo, DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra D.

My second question, which I find better, is to get a seperate Heat Sink and Fan to assemble together to cool my CPU. Keeping in mind I dont mind the noise at all, I wanted to also look into a Thermalright XP-90C and a Delta 92x38mm UHE fan or the Delta 80x38mm EHE fan. Regardless which fan I choose, I will need a 3pin converter to my 4pin mother board.

fan 80x38 -http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/del80ffb08123.html

Overall, I am looking towards pushing for the 90C and the Delta 92, even though my system will literally sound like a jet turbine. But I am wondering what peoples opinions are so feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

The alternate and slighly more powerful fan to Delta 92mm UHE is the Vantec Tornado 92mm. Wear your ear plugs.

Actually, check the second link I enlisted in the fan selection part. The tests show that the Delta 92 is louder and faster. But I do agree on the heavy copper. Its just so shiny though   Any other suggestions?

This should solve all your "air flow" problems...

Seriously though i would recomend a 120mm fan. Its quiet and moves a lot of air.

nice choice on the heat sink btw, thats the same one i wanted to get.

If you don't think you can mod a 120 on there, get a regular 92mm fan.
With that much copper you definately don't need a tornado to keep it cool.

Recommended Fan:
Maker: Panaflo (Panasonic)
Model: FBL09A12M
Size: 92 x 92 x 25 (mm)
Bearing: Hydro Wave
Voltage: 12V
Speed: 2450 rpm
Air Flow: 48 CFM
Noise Level: 30.0 dBA
Weight: 110g (3.88 oz)

but if you're a real fan of jet engines... then go right ahead and purchase a TORNADO.

you might also want to look into these fans that wusy discovered:

WTF LOL haha. NICE link....definitely going with the 42" Belt sander fan or whatever that is. No but your right, I cant fit a 120 on my intended Heat Sink because of the lay out of my ram slots next to the socket itself. On this mobo, http://img.clubic.com/photo/00133284.jpg, the only slots you can use are the orange ones, numbers two and four.

Wait though, the height of the Heat sink will definitley raise the fan out of the way of this ram,http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820146890. Initially the fan would of hit without this Heat Sink, but now I think I'm good. Any one else think so? Also lets not forget about the first decision, the air flow. I'm looking to do some serious overclocking. With this in mind a 120 Panaflo or a 92 Delta UHE would do the better job? Suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
