Hello all,
I have a Dell XPS 17 (i7 8 cores, 32 GB ram, RTX2060 6 gb GPU, 1 TB SSD). I actively play Flight Simulator 2020 but unfortunately Im not getting more than 25 fps with my C49RG90 (5120 x 1440 DQHD) monitor on medium settings. I am considering purchasing a Thunderbolt RTX 3000 series eGPU but I have heard that the limitations of the thunderbolt connection prevent any benefits or point of purchasing a 3000 series RTX GPU. What egpu does everyone recommend? Is it true that anything beyond a RTX 2080 Super is a waste of money since it would be limited by the thunderbolt connection?
