Here's my build:
https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/Js6mV6

RAM: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/kXbkcf/gskill-memory-f43200c16d32gvk
Cooler: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/4vzv6h/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhd15
Case: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product...ase-h500-atx-mid-tower-case-mcm-h500-ignn-s00

Any idea if there will be enough space for the ram (enough to not touch the fins?)
My GPU may or may not touch the heatsink but that wont be a problem since I'll just move the gpu to a lower slot.

Solution
CLEARANCE - CPU COOLER 167mm (From coolermaster case site)
Height (with fan) 165 mm (From noctua nhd15 site)

The front fins of the NH-D15 generally protrude over the RAM slots. Due to the recessed lower fins, it is still possible to use RAM modules with up to 65mm height in single fan mode. In dual fan mode, the front fan will sit above the RAM slots as well. In this case, Noctua recommends using standard height RAM (up to 32mm).
You can read more here: https://noctua.at/en/nh-d15.html?comp=1

Ripjaws V: 42mm (From Gskill site).

Your case fit the cooler just fine. Memory probably not be a problem if you put the ram sticks to the 2 and 4 slot and raise a bit the front fan of the cooler or move the front fan to the back.

Also i see you build a ryzen system. I have a noctua cooler for ryzen too. The simple models dont include am4 brackets for ryzen like the one you picked. Look for noctua coolers that end with SE-AM4 ( NH-D15 SE-AM4) these are compatible. I also think noctua sell am4 brackets separate too.

Oh? I'll have to take a look (again)...
Should I disregard the compatibility filter when picking the cooler?

Thanks for the info, I honestly thought cooler manufacturers packaged brackets for both systems.

Well SE-AM4 NH15 is 300$ on newegg dont know why this price difference.
The am4 bracket kit cost 9$ probably it is worth to buy the cooler you listed and buy the am4 kit seperate. https://www.newegg.ca/p/13C-0005-00114?Item=9SIAB985BG2884&Description=NOCTUA AM4&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&PageSize=10&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&IsFeedbackTab=true#scrollFullInfo

Apparently newegg ships the bracket for free if it doesnt come packaged with the AM4 bracket, so maybe I'll give the regular version a shot.
Thats a pretty hefty price over the standard version for just a single bracket too

Yes give it a try and if not include it you just buy the kit then. I dont know why is this price difference in my country simple NH-D15 have 82,78 while SE-AM4 version have 83,05 .
