The top row of my SK64 stopped working all of a sudden. I soaked the PCB in isopropyl alcohol, dried it and plugged it in, everything's normal.
But the day after the top row stops working again. LEDs still work by the way. Can someone please help?

I don't know if we can really help other than offer some troubleshooting tips.

It could literally be anything from one (or more) of the traces being scuffed to an issue with the controller chip. But you'll need to do the work of poking at things yourself with a multi-meter.

hi, thanks for the reply. i do have a multimeter, but i don't really know how to use it. from what i can understand, the sensors on the top row is not getting enough voltage. also it registers keystrokes sometimes, so i don't think it's a microcontroller issue, no?

My guess is a broken track or a dry joint. Try flexing the pcb and see if the fault comes and goes.

Best option is to ditch the keyboard and get a new one. Without a circuit diagram and a pcb track overlay, you're unlikely to effect a cure.
