Any comments on the Epson R200 printer?

I've currently got a Photo 750, but the R200 looks promising with the
ability to print on DVDs/CDs.

Does this printer come with full ink tanks, or just trial versions.

Thanks!

All Epsons come with full tanks but it will use some of the cartridge to
prime the system. Your second cart. will get longer mileage.

Sounds good. It might even make sense for me to just get an R200 when
my 750 runs out of ink!

I just got the R200 a couple of days ago. What a sweet little printer. I've
had the 2200 for almost a year, and use it for most of my photo printing. I
got it using my AMEX Membership Miles so all I paid was 13 bucks for
shipping. I specifically got it for the CD printing, and it works pretty
good, haven't found the right printable cd yet, but the matt silver
printables look very good.

A good on-line source of blank CDRs in the US is www.rima.com. They carry both
white and silver inkjet printable discs from several manufacturers, including
the Quickdry "True SIlver". The printable surface on these "True Silver" discs
can be ordered in white or silver but the recording/playing side is silver (not
blue like most recordable discs) just like store bought discs. These make my
projects look much more professional.
