Some laptops have a sensitivity control to make a more deliberate touch necessary to activate/move the mouse. Start>Control Panel>Pointer and other hardware>Mouse> From there look around the different tabs, maybe a sensitivity adjustment exist. I don't use a laptop here but I've seen it in other computers. Go to Start, Control Panel, Mouse, Pointer Options, Motion Then set the speed to something lower if it's really high. Upvote 0 Downvote
