So this morning Windows checked for updates at 07.56. No update was available. I wanted to check reliability history just now and saw that I have a warning that says this in the picture I posted a link to.

There is no available windows update and I have no clue what this PDFX is. I started noticing an issue actually yesterday when this PDFX file started to pop up with errors. One error, when I started up windows, said that I didnt have permission to open this file. This all started happening after installing Malwarebytes. Any clue what is going on?

Try running the windows store
click on library link
click get updates
see if that helps

have you looked in windows update/update history to see if it shows the error there? the KB number next to update could help identify it.

PDFX appears to be a PDF format. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDF/X
Hey yea, so I actually forgot that I downloaded PDFx which is a app that allows me to edit PDF´s for my classes. I just checked for updates as you said and Ill see what it says. Im gonna look into the update history as well.

I have been having unusual errors that began right after installing malwarebytes. I just uninstalled it now to see if they continue but thought that I would ask here to see if anyone is familiar. Below are attachments of the most recent reliability history. My headset automatically turned off because I have it set for 30 minutes if not in use... but when I turned it back on I was having sound issues (like no sound) at which point a notification popped up saying "are you having sounding issues" and suggested I run the troubleshooter which it fixed it. Its been bizzare behaviour the past few days which I have never dealt with before.

Ryzen 7 5800x3D (less than a month old)
RTX 3060 12gb OC v2 (less than a year old)
Asus Prime b550m-a (around 2 1/2 years old)
RM650x (2 1/2)
16gb Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz (2 1/2)
Samsung 1tb SSD (less than a year)(OS installed here)
Samsung 250gb (more than 3 years old, only there for files and rarely used)

With the nature of my status as a student, I use the computer for significantly long periods of time (roughly 9 hours a day)

This issue is beyond my expertise (which isnt much) and I am still learning. Thanks for any help :)

this and your other problem could be linked...

try this:
right click start button

choose powershell (admin)

copy/paste this command into window:

Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth

and press enter

Then type SFC /scannow

and press enter

Restart PC if SFC fixes any files as some fixes require a restart to be implemented

First command repairs the files SFC uses to clean files, and SFC fixes system files

SFC = System File Checker. First command runs DISM - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/what-is-dism?view=windows-11

do you have latest BIOS on motherboard?

can you share a screen shot if this happens again. Upload to imgur and show link here.
yep I will do that. I did receive some other errors that I took a screen shot of but were different ones. Just a little while ago I deleted MalwareBytes because these issues began when I downloaded it.
