Hi, I did a bios update two months ago and after the update and restart I had this message. I entered bios and then exited, and the computer works as usual. This message was once after the update two months ago and has not been since. Is there a problem with the motherboard? I also have a problem that the processor's mhz drops from 4800 to 3800. (68-70C) maybe it's related to the motherboard? How do I check? Eve rything is stock except xmp is enabled. Thanks.
I also sometimes have errors on the computer and a lot of it as a result that when I download software then sometimes there are some files that it doesn't download and then makes an error. Especially with microsoft C++ files and also sometimes with new Windows installations so the updates failed.

The error:

American Megatrends
ASUS
Please enter setup to recover BIOS setting. Press F1 to Run SETUP

A good practice is to clear the CMOS once you've verified that the BIOS was successfully flashed to the latest.

Might want to check and see if the time and date in BIOS is correct. Did you try and replace the CMOS battery?

Thanks, I didn't change the battery because it only happened after the update once. The date and time are correct. What about the processor problem? Maybe a motherboard problem?

That message is normal after BIOS update and CMOS/BIOS reset but once you enter BIOS and exit after saving settings it should stop and BIOS work in default mode. If it happens every time that would mean that BIOS didn't "remember" settings or it's not properly identifying some component. Battery may be low or not seated properly. See if BIOS has some settings like Default or Enhanced /Performance default settings.
If everything fails, including CMOS battery change, you should try to updated BIOS again.
