I just bought a Asus maximus hero z390 off newegg.com. I've connected everything I believe except that this motherboard has one more motherboard power plug (the ones that look like the pcie plug for video cards.) I'm getting an error code 61 and it won't boot up. Nothing shows not even BIOS. I've got two m.2's one with windows. 2 normal ssd's. 32gb of ram ddr4. And a rtx 3080 12gb version.
On the other 2 pcie's 16's I also have a 10gb Lan and a usb c 3.2 card
What could the issue be?
I forgot to mention I bought the motherboard from a US seller and it said shipped by newegg cause I didn't want a Chinese version cause I'm scared of all the stuff they are selling as new when they were used heavily for mining crypto. I'm really upset with newegg cause they sent me a Chinese version. The freaking box has Chinese lettering everywhere and the motherboard manual is in Chinese. Nowhwre did it say online that I was buying the Chinese version!
Is that the reason I'm getting the error code? Incompatibility with all my US REGIONED pc parts?
