I have an old game of Heroes of Might and Magic (HoMM) with the first 3 cd's
of the series, while installing them on my XP home edition, the 2nd cd let me
get to the accept license screen then (i think this is where it tells me that
my system fails cuz they didn't have 3.0G CPU's back then) i get the error
report screen to send to MS and then the program teminates. I went to my
other machine a 98SE system and it appears that it would have loaded as i got
the fail screen but it let me continue install...which i didn't do since that
is not where i want the game. and as i have said the first and the third
cd's loaded with no problem and they are good installs because i was able to
play them. Anyone have any ideas what might be the problem?
