Hello,

I ran across a set of specs for my G ateway FX6800-01e

It listed the esata connections as Sata1.5? Jus an error or something else?

Cheers

That was the first version of SATA. At that time, it was just called "SATA" - the common terms "SATA I" and "SATA II" only came when the second version was introduced. Be aware this is NOT likely a problem. There are very few mechanical (i.e., spinning disk) HDD's around - not even the most recent - with average data transfer rates that can actually out-do the 1.5 Gb/s interface speed.
