im having a problem with my dns connection. i am house sitting and have taken my pc with me, i have taken the same ethernet cable from my home however i'm having connection problems that i have never had before. i house sat last year and had no problems. i have used different cables etc but i'm still having the same issue. There is a globe icon with a line and a circle on it. it is detecting that i have connected to something but i have no internet access at all. The icon changes to the correct connected icon but this will only last 10 - 30 seconds before going back to the globe. i don't have any connection during any period of the icon change. i have used the command promt to flush/ reset connection, i've disabled/ updated and reinstalled my network drivers but no luck, i have searched and tried every fix i can find but nothing works. i have reset both my pc and router.
Windows gives me this problem cant communicate with dns but i have no idea how to fix this. any help?
