You should not have to install an Ethernet controller driver beyond what your computer already has, Windows 7 should be able to take care of that with its built in drivers. You might need to uninstall and reinstall your printer on your computer though.
You also should consider giving your printer a static address in its configuration and then making that a DHCP reserved address in your router. Printers seem to function better in networks if they don't just have dynamic addresses.
