[SOLVED] Ethernet drivers not working on ASUS ROG Strix Z490-H Gaming + after bios black screen

Hey all,

I've just built my new PC today, I've been unable to get the Ethernet drivers working. I've installed all the software from the disc with the board, reinstalled windows, windows is unable to find any drivers for the device when using device manager. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do to fix this?

Same issue again, worried that something might be wrong with the actual board. I also get a black screen after the bios screen unless I plug in a boot device and just skip straight to windows

I've managed to fix the issue, here is how I did so.

1. installed wifi card in the new PC.
2. connected to the internet.
3. still could not find drivers in windows so I updated windows.
4. after windows update was able to find Ethernet drivers through device manager
