I just built my new PC, my motherboard being ASRock B550M Pro 4, and my Ethernet isn't working.
(AMD Ryzen 5800x, 16 GB 3600Mhz Ram (8 x 2), WD SN 850 1TB, 1TB HDD, Rog Strix 3060ti)

My room doesn't receive good Wifi range so I didn't get a WiFi module, and I'm dependent on ethernet. But ever since the first boot, the ethernet isn't working.

Following is what I see:
• The Ethernet LEDs are not lighting up.
• Realtek Network Controller is not showing in Device Manager
Lan is Enabled in Bios.
• I only see Bluetooh (I'm using a bluetooth USB), and a bunch of WAN ports in Network Adaptors in Device Manager.
• There is no list of "other devices"
• Enabling Show Hidden Devices shows Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter.
I ran ipconfig/all on CMD but I only see Ethernet Adapter Bluetooth Network Connection.
• When I click on Network and Internet Settings (on the toolbar) -> Change Adapter Options I only see Bluetooth Network, no Ethernet
• Only Bluetooth shows up in Network Connections, no ethernet.
• Pressing on "View Hardware and Connection Settings" also ONLY shows Bluetooth and no Ethernet.

Following are the steps I have taken so far:
• I checked the Ethernet cable, it works fine with my laptop.
• I manually installed Realtek Lan drivers from the MotherBoard's Website, but I get the following Warning: The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled, please plug the cable.
• I would like to update the drivers manually from the Device Manager, but I can't see any Realtek Network Controllers or Adaptors.
• I removed the Ram Modules and left them out for good 5-6 Hours (it was a solution on a few forum websites), but that didn't work either.
• I did a Network Reset from Windows Network Settings, but that didn't help either.
• I disabled->started computer then enabled again -> started computer the Lan Options in Bios but that didn't make any difference.
• I tried everything on this similar post, but nothing seems to work.

Please help. I bought the motherboard in the US during the sale, but I was a student there and have moved back to my home country now.
I contacted ASRock and they say I can request an RMA and get a replacement but they only ship to the US and Canada.
I would really appreciate your help. Thank You.

I had installed my old laptop's SSD in the 2nd M2 slot of the motherboard. Turns out, THAT was causing the issue all along.

I noticed that my SSD wasn't showing up as a drive in my system. So I removed it. I ALSO jumped the Motherboard using the CMOS jumper pins.
This solved the issue.

Once I had internet though, I tried installing the SSD again in the same slot, and I faced the same issue. So I'm guessing it was a faulty SSD all along.

it's possible that if this was a US-only product that it doesn't support other standards.

have your ISP come out and test components and connections to verify if they should work or not.

My Laptop, Acer Predator Helio 300, was also bought in the US, and the Ethernet Works fine.
I feel the issue isn't the fact that the cable isn't working, but the fact that Ethernet isn't showing up in my Devices/Network Connections

Sounds very much like the ethernet adapter has simply failed.
Easiest fix is to buy & install a new PCI or PCIe network card.

So I bought a new motherboard itself. Same make and model. But I'm facing the same issues.

I also tried installing Windows 11, and Windows 10 from 3rd party websites (download ISO file and installed using USB), but that didn't help either.
