Hello

I am having a weird problem, after a while of using my pc (usually 10 hours but sometimes even 1 or 2 hours) pages suddenly stop loading in all browsers, however VoiP apps that are already connected still work fine (if I close the app and restart it it won't connect)

I've tried disabling and reenabling ethernet, physically disconnect it, I can't restart the router because I'm at student housing dorms, I'm not sure what else I should try.

Restarting the pc fixes this issue, but it's inconvenient.

I'm on windows 7
Cpu : amd fx 9590
Motherboard : gigabyte 990fxa-ud5

Thanks in advance.

You are likely loosing the DNS server. Try to see if a ping to 8.8.8.8 works when the browser is broken. You should be able to change the DNS in your nic settings to use 8.8.8.8 which is google dns. You can use 1.1.1.1 if you do not like google.
I tried pinging both and it didn't work.
I tried to use dnsflush and it didn't work well so I tried displaydns in ipconfig and it gave me and error msg "could not display the DNS resolver cache".

I don't know if that's relevant or not.
