This is the error that I found in my event log last week. It appeared in the log when the PC was idle. The PC is running fine, and had I not looked in the log, I wouldn't have found this. I did a Scandisk (8kbs bad sector) on my 80Gig drive and I Degragged. I do have a year left on my extended warranty, but it's bugging me that the hard drive is humming along just fine. Does anyone know how reliable these warnings are? I backed up but this is not a good time for me to be replacing my hard drive. Any suggestions/experience with this error?
