My card does not go above 58C, however if I try to overclock above 182 MHz core clock or 285 MHz memory it crashes. Shouldn't it go higher with this low temp?

Every card is different and they will not all be the same. it is common for Nvidia's cards to run cool like that. your card is already a little pre-overclocked from the factory so you 'll only be able to push it so much. basically, push to the highest points in both mem and core clocks that will allow stability. you'll be able to fine-tune your settings over time

I had an evga 970 ssc and the core only went to +50 and mem +150 I kept it that for over a year. Any higher it would crash or get artifacting.

Your best off running it at stock test a game that you play with stock settings then overclock settings you won't notice anything.

This is what I've started to do feels great not having to worry about your gpu if the overclock is stable or will it get better fps etc etc
