Hello, I was thinking of using liquid metal instead of the pre-applied thermal paste that was sent with the card. I know I shouldn't use liquid metal on aluminum heatsinks since it will create an alloy between gallium and aluminum. I just want to know what metal is used exactly in my Evga 2080ti XC ultra heatsink.

It's aluminum.

Why do you need liquid metal anyway? It might shave off a couple degrees. But I honestly wouldn't worry unless the TIM was botched anyway.
