with this board you want to go no further than pc6400 ram and T2. then all ram types should work fine. the new rev of the board can easily detect all types.

From what i've been reading on the eVGA website, 80% of all the memory problems are occurring with Corsair ram. I personally went with Crucial Ballistix, but a popular brand with these motherboards are G. Skill. You can get the higher speed ram, but you will ultimately be undervolting it until they get this motherboard figured out. It seems that as long as you are 2.1V and under, there isn't many problems. Once you get higher than that, the ram is getting fried after a few weeks. There is a huge thread about this issue on the eVGA forums.

yes the board fries the ram cause it seems the voltage above 2.1 is not set correctly. so stay below 2.1 and dont try to overclock ram on this board before they fix the issues with overvolting. there shouldnt be a problem with corsair as said before it was 2.2v ram that got fried and it was the expensive dominator ram. so if you buy standard pc6400 your system should be ok.

Here is Corsairs website that shows the compatible memory for the Evga 680i. -> http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair/configurator_search.html . This is the ram I have, TWIN2X2048-9136C5D 1142mhz @ 2.1v for 3 weeks now. No problem at all. I heard this board does have problems with ram at 2.4v or higher. But this particular memory that I have is both very fast and stable, and the bios shows all specs correctly. I reccomend this memory, TWIN2X2048-9136C5D, with that board, Evga 680i.
