Hi so i am building my friend a system using just the Ryzen 5 2400G and of course plan on overclocking it but was wondering about the EVGA PSU's cause within his price range he can get the 450w which is a BT model and the 500w which is a BR model and i mainly deal with cooler master and thermaltake PSU's so i don't know anything about the EVGA lineups and of course all the one's use are out of his price range because the 450w BT is 50$ while the 500w BR is 55$ so which one would be good for a budget gaming system that is able to hold out for overclocking and also if he was to ever use a dedicated GPU it would be a low powered budget card for sure like the RX 560 or the GTX 1050/Ti, 1650 so any help would be appreciated and thank you.

i'd take the CX550m myself over any of the bottom model EVGA psu's.

i'd also take it over the thermaltake and cooler master budget models as well. you can almost always find the CX series on sale with a rebate somewhere.

For my own personal PSU i am using this one https://www.newegg.ca/cooler-master-mwe-gold-650-full-modular-mpy-6501-afaag-us-650w/p/N82E16817171128 just because i know it would really last me and also the GPU's i tend to use are never that powerful as well.
