I'm looking to buy a GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB. Which manufacturer should I choose to buy this card from, eVGA or BFG Tech or someone else. If there's anything else you might need to know, just let me know.

Thanks,

David

Hello,

EVGA is better since they have lifetime warranty, card trade up, and a chance to win back the refund on the card. Not to mention register for free game.

The design of the hsf encompassing the whole EVGA GTX card is cooler looking and seems more durable.

Unless you plan on doing SLI with 7800 GTX 512s then get two Geforce 7800 GTs and run them in SLI. You'll save money and get better performance.

Not necessarily. Mobo has lots to do with SLI performance--most of the time SLI doesn't give you any more performance boost than a dual-core processor would help games run faster (in the future it will...but for the future just wait for the next gen video cards instead. GeForce 8s or whatever.)
