[SOLVED] Excess thermal paste

I have accidentally left a small (thread-like) amount of thermal paste next to the gpu chip. I was applying the paste and some of it was left on top of the syringe, so it fell next to the gpu chip when I raised my hand. Will it cause any (heating) issues if I just leave it there? The paste in question is IC Essential E1 from Cooler Master.

It's in contact with the paste that's on the chip. It won't spread the heat to the rest of the card?

No. It doesn't transfer heat THAT well.
