No that key is not in HKLM. Sorry about my previous response. I guess I
did not read it properly. What I want to do is to be able to type anything
into the Explorer address bar. Right now anything I type is overwritten by
the previous entry in less than 1 second. For instance if I have an
explorer window open in My Documents. "My Documents" is selected in the
address bar. If I start typing "My Music," I can type the M and y before
it reverts to "My Documents." This behavior does not happen when I type in
a command or file name in the Run dialog box or IE. Something different is
happening in the Explorer address bar that prevents me from typing and
completing a directory name, URL, or command.
