Question Extremely low fps in fullscreen,window mode fixes it?Help

So whenever i play a game the fps is usually around 20-30.Two days ago i noticed something was wrong about this.The games i have been playing was low end pc games and even though my system req meets the optimum the games doesn't work properly

So here is the deal:
When im in fullscreen my fps is usually around 20-30 and the game is unplayable

But when i go windowed and make the window smaller the fps suddenly goes up to 100 and game just runs perfectly without fps drops or stuttering.

I don't know what to do,i tried updating my drivers and stuff like that it didn't made any difference.

Name of the game you've been taxing the laptop with? You're on a very dated laptop, I'd be surprised if you could get any games to run on that laptop without thermal issues.
