I have have problems with setting up the AMD Eyefinity on my system ((specs below) but on my 4th attempt it worked and Bingo! my desktop suddenly spanned all 3 screens. So I started up my fav flight sim (RoF) but instead of spreading across the 3 screens it opened separatly on each one! Ooops, still not right. Reading on the AMD website it says to activate the SLS mode (Single Large Screen), but the way I read it, this happens automatically when I go through the CCC Multi-Display setup, which I've done? What have I missed?

ASUS P7P55D-E, Intel i5-750 2.67Ghz (OCd to 3.7Ghz), 8Gb Kingston Hyper 1600 DDR3, PowerColor Ati HD5870, Corsair HX850 PSU, 3x DELL U2212HM monitors.

WHen you go to resolution settings, do you have the options to stretch the one screen?

Have you went to Catalist Control Center and set the SLS mode?

Hi austing, thanks for the reply. Resolution settings where? From desktop, in the screen resolution it recognises that there are 3 monitors joined as one and shows the total resolution of all three.

Everything I have done so far has been in the CCC but even after going through the Multi-Display set-up procedure and then adjusting for bezal compensation there is still no sign of SLS mode. Where is it?

Can you set the resolution to 5760x1080 in the game?

"For Eyefinity most all AMD cards require that at least one of the monitors is connect with a DisplayPort or active DisplayPort adapter. Plus not all games support Eyefinity so even if you have it enabled if the game does not support it you will not get gaming across all three. With out knowing what games you are trying to use can't say for sure. "

"if it's an ATI card, you have to go to the CC control panel and enable "eyefinity". "

-Getochkn

"Right click on your desktop / resolution and select "extended desktop". "

I hope some of these things said by other Eyefinity users can help you.

Thanks for all the suggestions. It's all sorted now. I had to change the resolution within the games startup file to the new 3 screen total. Perfect!

In all that I have read about setting up an Eyefinity system, never has this been mentioned. And I have read a lot!
