Eyefinity technology and its limits. Please help!!!

Hello everyone!

I have a question regarding AMD Eyefinity technology and its limits.

I've seen AMD graphics cards with Eyefinity technology be able to run six 27" computer monitors all at once, and I've also seen AMD graphics cards run three 46" HDTV's all at once.

MY QUESTION IS: Would it be possible to hook up and run six 50" (or larger) 1080p HDTV's simultaneously on a graphics card SUCH AS the ATI/AMD Radeon HD 5870 2GB Eyefinity 6 Edition graphics card (or some other graphics card that can run six displays at once), obviously using Eyefinity technology to get all six TV's to run together?!?!

In theory, it sounds like it would be possible, but would it actually be possible to run that many big HDTV's all at once, all together, or would I be limited to computer monitors (in other words, would I only be able to run six displays if they were computer monitors, or could I substitute all six monitors with six huge HDTV's???)

I was watching a video of a Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition 2GB graphics card running six big computer monitors all at once, and then I started thinking "would it be possible to substitute all of those monitors and instead use huge HDTV's," and then I posted my question here 😛
 
So, theoretically, I could successfully hook up and run six of these HDTV's http://tinyurl.com/cxwxgab to one or even two Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition graphics cards (or any other graphics card or combination of graphics cards that could run six displays) at once?!?! 😀 AWESOME!!!
 
WAIT A MINUTE!!

NEXT QUESTION: Would it be possible to crossfire two Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity Edition graphics cards (or any number and combination of cards) together and be able to run twelve displays all together, all at once, at the same time?!?!?!
 
The size of the screen doesn't matter at all, its the resolution.

For example 6X 27" 1080p monitors is going to require the same amount of GPU power as 6X 46" 1080p monitors, they could be 1000" inch and it wouldn't make a difference at 1080p, although the pixels would be massive :lol.

Lets say you are running 7680 x 1080 resolution with 6 monitors (which I think is the max) a single 5870 is not going to be able to cope in a gaming situation, its just designed to allow up to 6 outputs to be used at once.
 



You could run 12 displays in total, but you wouldn't crossfire the cards. You'd have both Cards running seperately each doing 6 monitors.


When playing games you'd only be using one of the displays though.
