to be found somewhere ?

In the help provided with whatever application has focus when you hit
the F key.

In what application? Their function varies according to what app they're
being used in (though, as a general rule F1 opens the help file).

Click Start, Help and Support and enter keyboard into the Search box.
Scroll down the Search Result box and click on Windows Keyboard Shortcuts.
