Hey,

Is there such a thing a fan controller hub that has a PWN input but where the hub then connects to non-PWN (3 pin) fans?

For example, I have 5 older fans that aren't addressable, can I plug them into some kind of hub that is PWN which they controls the 5 fans?

I'm sure there is but my search skills are failing me :)

Thanks for the help .

Yeh I want to slow the fans down. They're running full speed at the moment, I'd like to slow them down. I was thinking maybe there was a way to get a hub that acts like a PWN fan - so slows down if it's cool, speeds up if it's hot - but the hub controls the 3 pin fans plugged into it so they all speed up or slow down as one.

There IS one that I know of

This Hub is quite unusual. First you can feed input to it (control signals) from a header using either Voltage Control Mode or PWM Mode. At the output side, there are eight ports. FOUR are for PWM fans only. THREE are for Voltage Control Mode (3-pin) fans. Port #1 (the only port that returns its fan's speed to the host header) claims it can be used with either fan type. You CAN use common Splitters (3- or 4-pin) to connect two or more fans to EACH port, so that will get you 5 old fans easily. Power limits are reasonable: 1.0 A max per output port, 4.0 A max total for the Hub. Like other Hubs, it gets all power for its fans from a SATA power output connector from the PSU. It comes with a hand-held control box for use IF you have NO way to connect to any mobo fan header - don't bother with it.
