Question Fans not spinning even at higher temps

MB: MSI x570 MPG
CPU: 5600x
GPU: Gigabyte 1060 3gb (waiting for 30 series)

The GPU fans will spin at first like they should and then turn off. I have MSI afterburner that has fans spinning always, and even without that the fans won't spin and eventually it reached 95° C and still no fan spin. So I went into bios and had my case fans run at 100% and this brought it down to about 75°C.

The thing is, I took the fans apart because they were making noise. They worked fine before. But why spin on boot and then stop?

I had to tinker with the wires. They weren't getting a proper connection. I had to create tentions at the joining points. Works fine now.
