INTRO:

OK. I am pretty much ready to order all the parts for my new build. I will list the parts first, then describe what I plan to do. PLEASE NOTE: I have already purchased the CPU, so suggesting a different CPU in any way is pointless. I am building around this CPU. Any other suggestions are welcome tho. Thank you. :)

PART LIST

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 760k BE
CPU Cooler: XIGMATEK LOKI SD963
MoBo: ASRock FM2A85X Extreme4-M
GPU: SAPPHIRE 100358L Radeon HD 7770
RAM: G.SKILL Sniper Series (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866
PSU: CORSAIR CX600M 600W
Chassis: NZXT Vulcan mATX case
Misc.: A HDD or two, maybe an SSD in the future; a DVD drive now, maybe a BD eventually; and a wireless card down the road as well.

FURTHER POINTS

First off: is the PSU enough? I plan on OCing to 4.5GHz if I can, and may through in another 7770 for some Crossfire love. I have never run two GPUs or OCd a CPU before, so I am unsure if I have enough beef in my PSU. A part/full mod for airflow in an mATX case and an 80+ Bronze rated at least PSU for reliability is preferred.

On the OC note: is that cooler enough? I was considering getting the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO, but am worried that on a mATX MoBo in the case I chose, even with low profile RAM...it would be too big. If someone can confirm otherwise, I would prefer the Hyper 212. Unless it is "too much" cooler and I'll just stick with the XIGMATEK LOKI.

Furthermore: I am choosing an mATX build because while at the moment this is going to be my primary game build (I know, not epik, but on a budget here), when I build my next system in a year or so, this will be hooked up to my TV for media, a backup game build for when friends come over, and my LAN PC when I go over to a friend's place. So the portability/concealability of the mATX form factor appeals to me. I am willing to change my mind if someone has a really good argument however.

Speaking of budget: I cannot spend much more than these parts cost (already bought the CPU, so no more than $500 left in my budget, including s&h and tax). So no crazy GPU recommendations please. However, if you have a similarly/SLIGHTLY higher priced choice, please let me know. I am not beholden to AMD cards, so an Nvidia would work too.

FINAL THOUGHTS

The CPU is already on its way. Any other thoughts, questions, suggestions, facts, etc. are welcome as long as the budget is kept. I really appreciate any and all help. This will be my first from the ground up game build, first time attempting to OC, etc. And while I have spent about a month researching all of this, and I already chose the CPU for its performance to cost ratio, I want to make sure the rest of it holds up as well.

You cant properly crossfire with that motherboard , and your links are confusing . Prices in English pounds and US $ ?

Where are you and what are you trying to achieve ?

If its gaming then in general go with the AMD FX cpu's . An FX 6300 can be as little as $110 and a motherboard like the Asrock 970 Extreme 3 is about $70 .
You would need an ATX case

That CPU is very hard to find. It is an A10-6800k that the GPU wasn't up to snuff on in the factory, so they disabled it to make just a CPU. I could only find it on amazon.co.uk. Everything else is in USD because I am in the US.

I already purchased the CPU. Any advice to go with an FX is pointless. I don't want that for this build, it is too much for what I want. I want a "good enough" gaming rig. Not a full high settings OMG GRAPHIX!111!1 build. So please assume that the CPU I chose it the only option for what I am doing and recommend around that. Like I asked in my original post.

Also, the MoBo says it supports Crossfire...Can you please explain why it wouldn't be able to handle it properly? If I missed something please let me know. :)

since you cant crossfire properly [ the pci-e slots are x16 and x4 ] you might as well get a single better graphics card .

I would change the psu to a cheaper 450 - 500 watt unit

Change the RAM to 1600 MHz and lower 9-9-9-24 latencies
and buy a Radeon 7850 . They start about $130 on Newegg

Id also drop the cpu cooler . If it meant I could afford the better graphics card . You could add a better one later
