[SOLVED] Finding registry location for installer

Hello and thanks for helping out,

Background:
  1. I once had a folder under my D: drive (D: Projects)that I no longer use. In fact, I've created a new folder under my C: drive with the same name (C: Projects)
  2. In the past I used a third-party installer to install software onto my D: drive into D: Projects. That folder and all of its contents no longer exists. The problem now is that whenever I use that same installer it automatically defaults to D: Projects as the file destination path, however it no longer exists.

What I want to do:
Change default file destination path of setup installer in the registry editor

Problem:
Where is it?

Question:
How do I find a particular applications location in the registry editor other than searching for its name under "software" in the registry editor? (I tried looking in Local_Machine>Software for its name already with no luck)

Is there some way perhaps to see what D: Projects is binded to in the registry editor to find out the setup installers location that way?

Please let me know if I can move this question to a more appropriate forum location

Thanks for any help!

Why are you using some garbage software to install other software? Software installers are stupid and useless as you can plainly see
