Should I go ahead and finish out the campaigns that came with the game
without adding any addons, or is it ok to go ahead and load them while I am
working on the campaigns?

Also is it better to load addons to the resistance game or the flashpoint
game?

break,

how do I get the mission editor to start the HALO jumper out at 14,000 ft
vice ground level?

thanks

Either way. You shouldn't park too many addons into your game unless you're
using "mods", and once you're setting up mod folders, it doesn't matter how
many addons you've got. Without mod folders, you could experience game lag
once you've parked a bunch of addons into your main AddOn folders.

Adding mods to the game is very easy (you basically just create a new folder
to park all your addons in). To learn how to do this, go to the Avon Lady's
OFP FAQ and type in "mod". You'll find a easy, step by step set of
instructions to follow.

Also, go get Kegety's OFP Launcher. This will allow you to have a single
OFP icon on your desktop (not a bunch of different icons for all the
different mods you have). Once you click on it, a box will pop up with a
list, and you can simply click on the mods you want to use during that game
session. Un-check them all to play the game without mods.

And, note: some mods (like the Y2K3 mod) can be used with the original
campaigns and missions the come with the official game. So, if you want
modern day units (vehicles and men), and you computer can take it, try the
Y2K3 mod.

Whatever you do, you'll probably want to improve the sound of the original
game: the DRS pack is a favorite, but there are a couple of other very good
soundpacks out there.

High res ground and High res skies are another addon you'll probably want to
use with the official campaigns and missions--there's a bunch of stuff out
there.

Usually, the addons are placed in the resistance folder, but I, personally,
don't keep anything but the official addons in the original AddOns folders.
I use mods for everything--that way, I can easily select what I want to use
and not use with the check boxes via Kegety's launcher.

Might want to give ECP a try (offline anyway, seemed to cause a few probs in
MP).
