Hi all,

I just finished The Moment of Silence. On the whole, I liked it quite
a lot. Sure, there were some things that bugged me. Particularly the
bad pathing, the limited voice cast, and some awkward dialog.

But the thing I'm most bummed about is the following...

I couldn't figure out the Lunar5 'airlock' or Alaska satellite dish
puzzles without consulting a walkthrough. Those seemed really tough.
To others who have finished, did you figure them out on your own? Am I
just stupid? Ok, don't answer that last question. ;-)

On retrospect, I can sort of see where the clues are for the airlock
one. I don't know why, but I was just stuck in a mentality of needing
a special unlock code for the door, rather than figuring out that I
needed to make the atmosphere breathable. Even if I had the right idea
from the start, I doubt I'd have figured it out. The extent of my
success with that one was deducing the 3 numbers had to total 100.

As for the satellite dish one, well I'm sure I'd not have figured it
out in a million years.

Hi Ped Xing,

I couldn't figure out the Alaska satellite dish on my own. Heck, I even had
trouble understanding the walkthrough with that puzzle! :) Maybe I was just
frustrated because I knew the end of the game was near and I was stuck. No
trouble with the airlock, though. I really enjoyed the game!

Me too! :)

Changing stuff to see what happens elsewhere.
Running around.
Changing, changing and running, running around.
I got tired of running and not understanding.
