Hey guys,

A while back I posted a first build idea, thanks for all the help with that, since then I upgraded my budget a bit and need your advice once again.
This is what’s on my mind now:

The pc mostly gonna be used for gaming all sorts of titles, I’m gonna run a 1080p 144hz monitor. What do you guys think? Any better suggestions? Thanks

Actually a fairly decent balanced build. The 3600, B450 and DDR4 3200 is a good combination and the ADATA SX8200 is a very good NVMe drive (I have one!) though with the prices being fairly low, if you can stretch the a 500GB NVMe drive, I would do that as you will be surprised how quick it will get filled.

Used a single 1TB NVME SSD instead od a 256gb SSD and 2tb hdd.

Changed the GPU to a noticably more powerful but only $30 more Sapphire Radon RX5700 8gb.

Spend and extra $3 on this PSU instead https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Wr...fied-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-ssr-650fx

I would avoid B450, and go straight to x570, or wait on the MSI B450 max boards. The cost of that Pro carbon, is putting it in budget x570 territory. I threw in a budget cooler, as the wraith stealth can get loud.

TXM and SS focus plus gold are on par.

The Focus Plus is fully modular as opposed to the semi-modular TXM, but they are both robust inside.
They aren't on par though. The Focus Plus Gold is a set above the TXM.

Warranty:
Focus Plus - 10 years
TXM - 7 years

Fan bearing:
Focus Plus - dual ball bearing
TXM - Rifle bearing

Is the TXM a bad PSU, No it isn't. However, when you can get a superior product for $3 you go with the superior product.

TXM650- 50c temp rating.
Focus Plus gold 650 - 40c temp rating.
Seasonic Focus gold 650 controversial ripple aswell.

Both very good. Each one has pros and cons, which makes them on par in my opinion.

However in my country (the netherlands) the price difference is €34 or 37 usd..

Actually both are 50C units and when looking at hard data the Focus Plus is ahead of the TXM more often than it is behind. https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/seasonic-ssr-750fx-focus-plus-750-gold-psu,5206.html
Also tomshardware seems to be the only one that saw issues with ripple. Jonnyguru didn't for the 750W, so it was probably tomshardware's sample. https://www.jonnyguru.com/blog/2017/07/10/seasonic-focus-plus-750-gold-750w-power-supply/6/

Why should I avoid the b450? And the pro carbon runs wifi (what I don’t necessarily need) the x570 a pro is €30 more over here, my other option was the msi b450 tomahawk max which costs €40 less then the pro carbon, is that worth going for?
