First time build. Tried to learn as much as i could about building however i feel overwhelmed by everything. Please advise me what I should change and why. Most important is the why for me because i want to learn the general criteria for the parts and incompatibility etc. This is a learning experience foremost.

What I am looking at:

Thanks for the info. My understanding is the i7 3770's hyperthreading are rarely needed in any situation but the pricing isnt all that different i thought? Looking at i5 benchmarks they seem quite abit lower which lead me to i7. Had trouble with the graphics card so that is very helpful to get the best value. I have no idea how to pick a case. Some things i would lok for in a case are a couple front 3.0 usb and the back usbs are higher rather then on the bottom. And lots of fans. Other then that they seem to be all the same so a cheaper one would be better. Thanks again

The comparison on benchmark.net shows a difference? Is Benchmark.net skewed in any way or is it a good way compare. I do not know but thats what i based my comments on and how i came to pick the i7.

Redid the setup. Tried to take your guys' info into consideration. Thanks alot for all the help and i learned alot. Im pretty satisfied with these parts. Let me know any issues or reccomendations. i7 is debatable for me but the pricing doesnt seem too bad.
