Don't get me started on apple, I may hate ms, but that comes from years of fixing mine and other peoples problems with them. With apple it just pure contempt for the arrogance of the company, and for the posers who act as if paying the "apple tax" and overpaying 2X sometimes 3x more for their tech, that this somehow makes them superior human beings, it doesn't, the word your looking is sucker not superior..

Be sure and run disk clean-up/clean systems files to regain, in my case 23gb of disk space, you won't be able to roll back, but 4 me that's a small price to pay so I can take a 23gb dump, no where's that plunger..

I had Windows 10 on my old laptop for maybe 2 weeks before I changed back to 7. The random shut downs with out warnings was the main reason.
Just a few days ago my partner and I brought 2 new desktops that came with windows 10. I was hoping that some of the bugs that caused me to hate in on the first try would have been fixed. But we just had a major update and it uninstalled and deleted an anti spyware program I have used for years. No warning, no permissions it was just gone with a little message in the notes stating that it was removed and that Windows Defender is now on.
I have about 5 or more different anti malware, spyware and virus protectors that I am happy with and trust. I do not trust a program nor a company that forces themselves on me and makes changes with out me having a say in it.

After update my computer would only restart not shutdown and the only way to shut it down was to turn off power. Couldn't get to Control Panel from the start menu and file explorer stopped working. Called MS and an MS guy in India remotely played with it for hours and couldn't help finally saying I had to reinstall W10 and he would do it for me. I knew that was a joke and but let him try. Of course that failed as I knew it would. Windows doesn't like my Hyperx M,2 drive on a PCIe card and comes back with some wacky error code about GPT partitions. I never partitioned my drive thus it had to be the operating system that did that on its own. Since MS help was useless, I had to delete the info in each of drive partitions, delete the partitions, reformat using DOS prompt Format c;and then reinstall W10 using the Windows 10 thumb drive I had to buy because the free W10 install never worked. Of course I had to reinstall all my drivers (hard to believe that some OEM mfg. still don't all have W10 drivers for their products). Then had to play with all the setting to put on my startup and screen photos, eliminate their stupid password on startup using the local account and delete bloat programs/"apps" they loaded onto the operating system to try to get you to spend money and thus generate income for them.

What a terrible OS. So far I've had to reinstll W10 four times. My PC frequently freezes as the mouse stops working. Guess I have to accept doing a reinstall every time MS comes up with an update. Plus with all crap they added on W10 seems way slower than 8.1 to startup.

This is what the consumer gets when a company like MS is allowed to have a monopoly.
