Hey everyone,
I want to build my own pc. So far I have the following parts:
CPU: Intel 3.70 GHz Core i3-6100 ($120)
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti SC GAMING ($150)
PSU: EVGA 500 W1, 80+ WHITE 500W ($40)
Motherboard: MSI Intel Skylake H110 LGA 1151 DDR4 USB 3.1 Mini ITX Motherboard (H110I Pro) ($75)
RAM: Kingston Technology HyperX FURY 2400MHz DDR4 - 2 sticks of 4GB ($70)
Case: Thermaltake Core V1 Mini ITX Cube ($50)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD ($170)
Will there be any compatibility issues? Is a 500w power supply overkill? Are there cheaper alternatives to any of these components?
I'm set on buying the 1050ti, but is there is any cpu that would pair more nicely, and is cheaper than the 13-6100?
Also, is there anything in this build that could see a performance boost by using a different motherboard?
Any bottlenecks?
Any reason to overclock the cpu?
Sorry I'm still a newb at building. I appreciate any responses.
Also linked below are the parts on amazon. I will likely end up purchasing many on newegg or other reputable sites where i can find them for cheaper.
