Hello everyone! As you can tell by the title this is my first PC. I have decided to go the budget route and order a prebuilt dell optiplex 790 mini tower i5-2400, 8GB ram, 2TB HDD, 120GB SDD. I was wondering what type of gpu i could put into this system without changing the psu, and what kind of gpu i could use if i did upgrade the psu. I know very little about computers and any help is welcomed.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forums 😀
without changing the PSU, any of the cards that do not require AUX power. the GT/X 1030, 1050, 1050ti, rx 550 rx 560, the GTX 1650 or 1650 super.
if you change the PSU, any card you wish that physically fits in the case.

Is there a big difference between the 1650 and 1650 super? Also, do you have a recommendation for a PSU and GPU to go with it?

For the general idea, the gist.
https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1650S-Super-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1650/4058vs4039
budget but good, the CX series by Corsair, the CX-550M as an example.
a bit better, Seasonic Focus, corsair TXm
can't go wrong, Seasonic Focus Prime/Gold or the Corsair RMx.
What would be your #1 suggestion if i were to keep the current PSU? Also, im not sure what its called but does the 1650 super require to be plugged in with some type of cord?
