Hey guys, it's me again! I've got some problems regarding my FiveM game.

I recently bought a new PC:

MOBO: GIGABYTE Aorus Elite V2
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x Stock
COOLER: BeQuiet Pure Rock 2 FX RGB
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7800-XT 16GB Powercolor Hellhound
RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16
PSU: BeQuiet system power 12 750w
CASE: NZXT Midi Tower H5 Flow (with 2 front coolers, one back cooler and one upper cooler and a GPU cooler on the bottom)
OS: Windows 11

So I had problems regarding my FiveM performance as I replaced my old PC because I had issues there as well. After I got my new PC, it began with me playing on max graphics except MSAA with no graphic mods having around 100-130 FPS and suddenly, I've had some frame drops. Then I started dropping my frames completely in some areas in Los Santos or in Sandy shores from around 100 FPS to 40-50 FPS still no graphic mods only max settings with MSAA and advanced off.

What I then thought was that I was having a CPU bottleneck so I shifted up my render resolution setting to 4k which did make the game look nicer but didn't change a thing when it comes to the performance. I even changed multiple servers which did nothing.

I'm also having the problem where I have around 110 FPS but it looks like 40-50...

I use FiveMods with a graphics mod REDUX which still shouldn't be the issue when it comes to my performance since I've got a 7800-XT and I've had a performance issue even before having any graphics mod.

I don't know if it's the game either. As I said, I was playing on multiple servers and it was always the same performance issue I've had.

But I know for sure that my rig and my temps cannot be the issue since my CPU never gets past 65°C and my GPU never reachs 60°C.

My CPU/GPU usage typically looks like this ingame:

I play on 1920x1080.

Many will say it's a bottleneck, but come on guys.. I'm playing with graphics mod and everything maxed out except grass and MSAA turned off which are CPU Bound settings. I have no idea what to do.

NOTE: EVERY SINGLE PART OF THIS PC IS BOUGHT NEW FROM MINDFACTORY! THERE IS NO USED PARTS IN THIS RIG.

Things I've tried:
  • Turning on & off: resizable sidebar
  • Turning on XMP so my RAM goes up to 3600MhZ
  • Playing with settings, going back to normal
  • Turning grass and intense settings off
  • Changing power plan to high performance
  • Deleting GPU Drivers & installing them again (Multiple times)
  • Turning vSync on & off
Any help would be appreciated. <3
Thanks!

FiveM is unofficial 3rd party mod for GTA V. I suggest you contact mod maker for troubleshooting issues.

Or uninstall the mod and play vanilla.
Hi,

I guess people here know more fixes than people at FiveM and I've always got a response when asking for help on this forum, that's why I posted this here.

When performing this mod, what original install did you perform it on?

The reason I ask is that Rockstar put out a free offering of this game a couple of years back that was a pure trash release. There were a lot of people discussing something being broke in that version. Do you have the original paid version, updated, or the free release?

Of note, there are also a lot of content creator/reviewers that have discussed the issues with using the game on hardware that is actually too good for the game engine causing problems.

TH forums is international and deals with all kinds of questions. Hardware issues, software issues, hardware suggestions, software suggestions. Basically everything that comes to consumer electronics (including TVs, DAC or even home appliances). So, i see no way, how this generalized forum can be better than the dedicated FiveM forums, where all the talks in the dedicated forums, is solely about that 3rd party mod.

Sure, TH forums have more people, but that doesn't mean dedicated FiveM forums are worse off. On the contrary. FiveM devs are in the FiveM forums. Here, i don't think there are any FiveM devs who can look into your issue in-depth. So, you should get far better help from the dedicated forums.

Speaking of it, did you make a topic in the FiveM forums about your issue?
