Hello, I just received an MSI x870 Tomahawk motherboard. I wanted to update the BIOS via Flashing with the onboard button. I'm performing the flash without a CPU or RAM installed.
When I pressed the Flash button, a red light inside the motherboard flashed for a few minutes, while the first 2 lights on the POST error feedback (CPU, and DRAM) and the 2 digits for the error codes lit up.
The red light has stopped flashing after a few minutes (which I believe is normal), but the POST lights are staying on.
Is this normal? When would it be safe to switch off the PSU?
Thanks for your help.
