hi
i just built my first pc and after a few hiccups i've got it working perfectly. i've installed vista ultimate 32bit and have a problem with my floppy disk. it doesn't exist! yet the pc thinks that it does... assigned drive A: to it like usual. is it possible to get rid of it? i dont think it affects anything but i just dont like it there :p

Your MB has a floppy disk header and the BIOS detects that floppy disk connector. So, just because you have not installed a 'floppy disk drive' to your system, the capability is still present and can not be removed.
