To bad though that statute (been nicknamed here in ohio as 'touchdown jesus') is not around any more. Got destroyed from fire last night that got started from the sever thunderstorms that rolled though the area.

Hello i just read through the whole thread and i really like the sound of this folding and will be setting up my p4 laptop and my sempron desktop to fold later to night, and my athlon II x3 when i get it. Hopefully i can help out a little.

For any of you running SMP2 on linux, There new client (v2.22) for you and it can give a speed boost (depending on if you a 100% dedicated folder or not)

Hope this comes to windows clients soon. 😀

Reason why i say that is because this client fixes the issue SMP2 been having (or at least it sounds like it). Non-linear WU slow downs when using the computer for other things while F@H is running.

Will be nice when i can work on the laptop without having TPF just jump up drastically when checking toms, F@H, ect.

hmmm... is it just me or is there a lot of very large SMP WU's lately?

I've gotten 3 of them in the past week.

First WU, 6040 (didn't complete. had issues with it),

second, 6701 (New WU and completed. although the short time frame was a headache for me. Almost didn't make the preferred dead line. )

Now im working 6040 again.

Has anyone else seen this or is it just my luck?

Well at least i like the 6040 WU than 6701 WU. More points and longer preferred dead line (6 days vs 3.2 days.

My laptop on 6040 before preferred deadline [:fixitbil:7] (which i typically get done 2 days before that deadline)

My laptop with 6701 before preferred deadline [:huntluck:4] (which was only about 2 hours. Too close before for my liking)

well not completely i got like at least 5 or 6 of those the last couple of days, and when i occationally looked at my client i was like 😱 2000000 steps dang lol

lol, I was GPU and CPU folding and playing Crysis Sandbox and it finally lagged on the Sandbox! 😱
