That's the first thing I'll be trying when I get back on Monday... :) gotta be outta town for a couple of days.....still the rigs are going to be folding though..... hopefully I wish they don't have power outage before I get back.

I don't remember my exact voltage (at work right now), but I think my CPU is less than 1.2 (1.18?). It is actually slightly "undervolted" (from the VID) since I want to reduce the heat. This is why I did not push it beyond 3.6. (I was using 1.12V when the 920 is at 3.2 GHz.) Don't recall the PLL as I did not play around with that one.

CPU @4ghz, 200x20, QPI 1.25v CPU 1.275v, frame time now 33mins, was 35/36 @3.8mhz.

So 3 mins per frame quicker, 3x100 = 300 mins / 60 = 5hrs quicker for 200mhz increase.

Will try 4.2ghz after I get another unit. 😀 Sorry if I am boring you with all this but who else am I gonna tell. [:beanoslim:5]
More PrtSc shenangans..

wait so looked at the last page, just exactly how much more do you get for bigadv WU??? i saw something that said you were getting 29000PPD on an i7 at 3.8 which is coincidently exactly what mine is running at

You get bonus points on smp and bigadv.

You need to complete 10 wu's on time before you get any bonus.

Obviously quicker to do 10 smp wu's before switching to bigadv, the bonus will auto kick in on bigadv even when you have only done 10 smp wu's, its carried over.

OK, thanks. I haven't loaded SMP at home but I 'recruited' an E5620 (4c/8t @ 2.4 Westmere) for daytime folding and it pulled an a3 first. HFM's PPD jumped insanely when I hit WU 10 so I wasn't sure.

Now I just need to convince my boss that adding another 5620 in this 2p machine will be worth the $470.

Would this happen to be me 😗 or somebody else? As i am over there as well. 😉

Yeah twas ear flapper, 1st bomb uploaded. 😀 Just picked up a 2684 wu.

UGG 2684's are hard work, 24k ppd.

MasterW dropped a bomb also, just think if we both started running bigadv consistantly, we'd hit 500k then.

I remember looking at teams that were producing 600k and just thinking "How?"

The changes to this version of the client include the addition of a -forcegpu flag ='nvidia_g80_1.0' ; this flag will signal a compute capability of 1.0 (GPU species=10); if the flag ''nvidia_g80' is used the compute capability will be reported as 1.1 (GPU species=11). Also a pop-up dialog box now appears reporting an error, if the -forcegpu flag is unrecognized; the client then exits.

Warmon your gonna have to help explain this one. :pt1cable:

Should cheer the ATI users up some what, a new Nvidia client..

GPU species is how the client identify what family your gpu is from.

like 10 (and i think 11) is geforce 8xxx, i forget the rest of the numbers but one will be for geforce 9xxx, another for 2xx, and ect. (4xx and 5xx are apart of the same family).

Were, is that we are, if so that would be we're. :na: (Haseraths fault!)

Yes we have climbed again but we will get passed again soon, even though there are a few more passes in range.

The 920 is now Folding @4.2ghz(200x21), only needed 1.325v, what a chip [:aford10:7]

Congrats AK.....20,000,000,000,000,000 points.

Thanks, but you may have too many zeros in there. Wish I have that many points. :)

Im sorry beanoslim but i have to agree with AK on this. Not even Default (the highest pointed group there is) have that many digits. 😛

http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_summary.php?s=&t=0

20,000,000,000,000,000 (AK points in theory  )
00,000,014,341,446,795 (default)

If we had that many digits. i think this team would be comfortably sitting at #1 for a very long time even if we all stop folding for a while. :sol:

So now lets see how long it would take for AK to reach this goal. [:bilbat:1]

So subtract what he has already earned:
20,000,000,000,000,000−20,147,321= 19,999,999,979,852,679

Then divide the PPD currently making now by the total above.
19,999,999,979,852,679÷73,519= 272,038,520,380 days

Days broken down into years.......
272,038,520,380÷365= 745,311,014 years............ :eek2:

Huston we have a problem........

My response to reaching those numbers as an individual.
[flash=640,390]http://www.youtube.com/v/ExuC4mAplkU?version=3[/flash]

Anyways Gratz on 20mill achievement AK [:wolfen18:9]

Strike that about individual. More like even multi teams cant get that high number in a reasonable time-frame.

I was just messing around with that large number and seeing if all the teams that produce 1mill+ ppd (29 teams atm (excluding default)) could make those numbers in a reasonable time.

Even with the combine power of those 29 teams and there totals all added together, it would still take far to long.

current Total of 29 teams: 40,553,854,479

Total ppd of teams: 94,940,677

Years to get to that number: 577,143

Better than 700+ millions of years...... although most certainly not in out lifetime. Nor would the F@H project last that long.

Ok, so i need to buy out intel (cpu), nvidia (gpu), Corsair (ram, psu), Western Digital (HDD) and evga (sr2 motherboards) to have my own factories to produce the hardware needed to make a GOD Grid computing supercomputer. [:badge:3]

It's the only way! [:badge:5] (dont worry i would be putting all the points to Tom's hardware [:warmon6] )

(for some reason, im fascinated by such large numbers like quadtillion (what slim used) and i dont know why that is. :pt1cable: )

What if you include all of the teams, plus unaffiliated and anonymous F@H users, so basically the entire project. Could that hit those numbers in a reasonable amount of time?

sorry, that will just take too much time to figure out.
